Ryan Shay dies at mile 5 in the 2007 New York Marathon Olympic trials.
The Michigan Runner has been one of a number of publications that has been following the tragic death of Ryan Shay, during the U.S. Men's Olympic Trials. Of note, is the almost daily coverage by the New York Times and the Detroit Free Press. This past Sunday over a thousand people turned out for the funeral held in East Jordan.
