Third Monday Meets in Niles.
All other Mondays meet in Dowagiac on the SMC Campus.

OBITUARY 1 OBITUARY 2 GUESTBOOK (UNTIL JAN 2011)
Jim is survived by his wife of 55 years Maria. He is the father of MNRC members Chris VanHusen and Grandfather of Brian VanHusen. He passed away while hiking on his favorite trail on Superstition Mountain near Apache Junction, AZ. An anurism caused the sudden end to both that hike and his life. Chris notes this to be a blessing that he passed this way while doing what he loved to do the most and that on his favorite hiking trail. Jim was a member of the 2006 Grand Canyon Mountain Sheep team. He hiked Rim to Rim with Chris and Brian. Chris remembers how difficult it was to keep pace with him. He was well liked by all on the trip and always immediately recognizable with his signature sombrero. Chris says that she and her siblings plan to hike in memory of their Dad on his favorite trail.
