Club Meets 6:00PM Each Monday Night to Run or Walk after short meeting.
Third Monday Meets in Niles.
All other Mondays meet in Dowagiac on the SMC Campus.

SMC and St. Paul's church sponsor this fun run/walk as a fund raiser to assist the recovery effort in Haiti. Run/walk for pledges or just have a

Coach Ron Gunn founded the MNRC (Monday Night Running Club) during April 1979 at SMC (Southwestern Michigan College) in Dowagiac, Michigan where he was a track coach for 40 years.
Past members are asked to email one of the officers so that you may receive our Newsletter by email and for other members to contact you. Please join us whenever you are in the Dowagiac area.
We welcome both aspiring and seasoned runners or hikers. The club collectively has much wisdom, derived from experience, to share. The club currently has more dedicated hikers and trekkers than runners, yet the spirit of adventure runs strong through this unique and dedicated membership. Dedicated to fitness and living life a little more completely, reaching a little further past commonly perceived limits. It is an inspiring group to hike, run, travel and break bread with.
Members are often an enthusiastic part of Coach Ron Gunn's adventure tours which utilize the fitness level of the group to see places of interest like few ever do; trekking through the bamboo forests and volcano craters in Hawaii, or rim to rim through Grand Canyon, or hiking in the Virgin River through the narrow canyon walls of Zion National Park, or through the moors and around the lochs in the Scottish Highlands, or hiking the tumbled rocks and bluffs along Devil's Lake Wisconsin; a unique area scoured out by the glacier during the last ice age. Whether you run, hike or travel with the MNRC members you will have a great time leaning hard reaching for that brass ring.

NOTICE: Each 3rd Monday we meet in Niles, Michigan at the pavilion in Riverfront Park. Note that should the weather be adverse the group will spontaneously meet upstairs at the Riverfront Cafe. This is also our winter meeting place.
