Coach Ron Gunn founded the MNRC
Monday Night Running Club
during April 1979 in Dowagiac, MI at Southwestern Michigan College where he was a track coach for 40 years.
Members are often an enthusiastic part of Coach Ron Gunn's adventure tours which utilize the fitness level of the group to see places of interest like few ever do; trekking through the bamboo forests and volcano craters in Hawaii, or rim to rim through Grand Canyon, or hiking in the Virgin River through the narrow canyon walls of Zion National Park, or through the moors and around the lochs in the Scottish Highlands, or hiking the tumbled rocks and bluffs along Devil's Lake Wisconsin; a unique area scoured out by the glacier during the last ice age. Whether you run, walk or travel with the MNRC members you will have a great time leaning hard reaching for that brass ring.
Doing the extraordinary makes for a richer, sweeter life!
